A warm welcome from Alison
and Willie awaits you at Globe Place and there is homemade cake and tea
in the lovely farmhouse kitchen complete with Aga to greet you. There is
also a large and pretty garden with an outdoor swimming pool.
Guests can enjoy a relaxed breakfast with the newspapers, freshly ground coffee, home made marmalade, seasonal local field mushrooms, bacon, and eggs from the free-range Pekin bantams.
Dinner at Globe Place is always
special; Alison, former chef to the Beatles, shares a passion for cooking with
Willie. A menu to suit guests is discussed in advance, featuring fresh
vegetables from the garden, local fish, lamb or game (when in season). A
complimentary drink is offered before dinner in front of the Inglenook fire or
on the terrace in summer.
Come to relax and enjoy yourself in this charming early 17th Century grade-II listed house in the small village of Hellingly.
We are not licensed but you are
welcome to bring your own wine, for which we do not charge corkage.
Small parties welcome.
