• We had a wonderful New Year with Alison and Willie at Globe House. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival and enjoyed a fantastic four course dinner. The beef was cooked to perfection and we had the best crème brulee ever. We drank a few(!) glasses of champagne at midnight and somehow found our way to our quaint rooms at about 01.00! After a traditional breakfast, we took the dogs for a walk before departing for home. It was the perfect start to 2008 and I have no doubt that we will be back to enjoy more of Alison's hospitality and suberb cooking. I would strongly recommend Globe House.....but I do not want it to become too popular! Maureen Royston-Lee

• We have just returned from Globe Place having spent a most enjoyable time there. Alison is extremely friendly and helpful. She cooked us a wonderful meal with fresh sea bream and vegetables from her garden and finished off with coffee, chocolates and port in the drawing room. We slept in a charming room with one of the most comfortable beds ever.....and had a perfect breakfast next morning with the Sunday newspapers and the sound of the bells from the church next door. We would highly recommend a stay with Alison and her family and animals.

• This little Gem was found by me for our wedding night stay and i must say it is the friendliest and most gorgeous place i have ever stayed in this country. The Breakfast was out of this world and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Thank you so much xx
